Of course, when you cannot debate or have a civil conversation in the court of public opinion on the facts of the issue, by all means, bring out and play the race card.  Mayor Adams needs to pay close attention to mayors from his own party,  (see below)

But even El Paso Mayor Oscar Leeser, who is a Democrat and of Mexican descent, has shipped migrants from his city to the Big Apple — in fact more than twice than Abbott since spring 2022. Abbott’s office said it has sent more than 5,200 migrants to the city, while Leeser has arranged for 10,713 migrants to be bused to New York, according to that city’s migrant crisis database.
